The Politically Incorrect Guide to Capitalism
Okay, maybe you are an occasional reader of The Paleo Blog, but cannot understand how the writer at this blog can hold free market capitalism in such high esteem. Because, after all, are not minimum wage laws, price controls, welfare, etc. helpful to us and to the poor? Wouldn’t the businessmen run amok without all of these statist controls? Does not America loose jobs in “free trade”? Wouldn’t we be unsafe without all of these governmental health regulatory boards? Etc.
Robert Murphy provides the explanation of why voluntary exchanges in the free market of capitalism are better then coercive - statist regulations in his new book, The Politically Incorrect Guide to Capitalism.
He wrote about his new book to the P.I.G. series at LRC. You can read his column here.
It has been said that those who will not look at ideas that are different then their own, are too afraid that their ideas cannot standup to the confrontation. Please pick up the book at Amazon or your local book store today. Do it with a open mind.
